Jiman Manga Competition Winners Announced

Recently the Jiman manga competition’s winners were announced. The Jiman Manga Competition is run by the Embassy of Japan in the UK, and the top three winners get a chance to have their artwork featured in the Japanese Embassy, along with a few other prizes as well.

The top three were:
1st Place:
Ms Loren Lam [Dog]
Prize: 2 return air tickets to Japan, courtesy of ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS (Terms and conditions apply)

2nd Place:
Ms Susan Golton [B+]
Prize: TOSHIBA Satellite Pro laptop computer

3rd Place:

Ms Aya Kawamura [Creating a Superhero in 150 Days]
Prize: RICOH Digital Camera

The runners up were:
4th Ms Donna Pesani [Stars]

5th Mr John Blake and Mr Michael Reid [Shadows of a Changing Face (Prologue)]
–    Ms Pamela Lokhun [Dilemma]

7th  Mr Andy Smith and Ms Karen Rubins [Tales by Ghost Light]
–     Ms Stephanie Taylor [Raku Ninja: Part 1 – Legend of the Raku Ninja]

9th  Ms Samantha Borras and Ms Laura McNulty [Money Money]
Ms Lucy Baker [Dirty Rachel]

Special Prize for most impressive Manga by entrant aged 14-16: Mr Samuel Barker [Photus]
