Tokyo International Film Festival Hosts Anime and Manga
The annual Tokyo International Film Festival will this year run between the 18th October to the 26th October, with many world premiers of anime and manga films, as well as a retrospective for the God of Manga, Osamu Tezuka and the anime multi-creator Shoji Kawamori.
Kill, the anthology of action sequences created by Mamoru Oshii will show on the 19th October, and the entire cast and directoral team will appear at the screening. Various other mangas and animes will be shown, such as Osaka Hamlet on the 21st, Mitshishi will make an appearance, the Hell’s Angel Manga will début on the 18th, and various guest stars will make appearances as well.
Not forgetting the retrospective for Tezuka, with seven screenings.
